Exhibition of Cremetti Fine Art Prints visited by the Mayor of Redditch
On Tuesday 3rd November Cremetti's fine art prints were exhibited courtesy of local company T E Plastics Ltd. Having a keen interest in art and photography and a fascination with the Cremetti story, Redditch Mayor, Councillor Malcolm Hall attended the exhibition.
The Mayor spoke at length to Cremetti about his art and techniques, and accepted a print from Cremetti, which will be delivered to him at the Town Hall shortly.
Mayor Hall's interest in Cremetti's work is greatly appreciated.
The Mayor's attendance at Cremetti's fine art photography exhibition was reported fully by local newspaper, The Redditch Standard on 11th November 2009.

Visit to the Imperial War Museum, Duxford
Our first real attempt to follow up on what little information we have about the Cremetti family got off to a good start last weekend. We travelled to Duxford to visit the Imperial War Museum at the invitation of Collections Officer, Peter Collins.
Peter was fascinated by Laurence's connection to Max Cremetti who had apparently been something of a hero in the Great War and allowed us behind the barriers to view one of the fighter planes Max would have flown: a Bristol F2B.

PETER COLLINS OF THE IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM WITH LAURENCE CREMETTI
Lieutenant Max Cremetti is the obvious starting point for our research as his impressive record in the Great War means there is a fair amount of readily available information about him.
We shall be posting more on his escapades as a fighter pilot in the near future..... |
